Beverley Local Produce Market by Fresco Gourmet Tea & Coffee

Our latest blog is a slight deviation from our usual exploration and insight into the range of tea and coffee products we scour the world to bring you via our web site. That’s because we have some company news to update you on

Its good news though, as this coming Wednesday, April the 8th, we are pleased to say that we will be participating in the inaugural opening of the Beverley Local Produce Market, which means you’ll be able to come down, meet us in person and explore and sample our many varied wares for yourself

The Beverley Local Produce Market is a new initiative, with its focus and theme very much based around quality food and drink, and is already being welcomed as an exciting new addition to the calendar of local events as it will be a regular thing in the coming months, as will our participation

Fresco already has its own very popular store on Butchers Row in Beverley but we are also looking forward to getting involved in an event which will bring together traders with a focus on variety and quality in the fields of food and drink, and like-minded customers looking for a more enjoyable and entertaining shopping experience and the opportunity to source something a little bit different

The first Beverley Local Produce Market will include eighteen quality local produce stalls, including of course our good selves. On top of the chance to meet, browse and buy from all of these, there will be a whole host of other related activities including live cookery demonstrations from a number of successful chefs at the mobile kitchen, opportunities to sample an array of delicacies, live music and dance performances and plenty of entertainment for the kids too

The event has been organised in partnership with Beverley Town Council and will be taking place in Wednesday Market. It will be open from 9am to 3pm and it is completely free to attend. Free parking will also be available at Beverley Minster, another of the partners in the project, from 8.30 am on the day of the event

We really hope you can make it as it would not only be great to meet customers new and old, but also hope that this will mark the start of an exciting regular event for the area, offering something new to the local community and its residents, and even bringing in new visitors from further afield

As this is the very first Beverley Local Produce Market, there will be an official opening ceremony conducted by the Mayor of Beverley, Councillor Paul McGrath, which will be taking place at 10am

We will be on hand on our stall (number 16) throughout the day, with our ranges of Gourmet Tea, coffee and Hot Chocolate and plenty more besides, so if you do make it down, be sure to come and say hi
